Histogram Hub

About Histogram Hub

About this site

Histogram Hub is a free tool for turning raw numbers into a clear histogram, a frequency table, and a set of summary statistics. It was built to do one job well: take a list of numbers and show you how they are distributed, without a login, an upload, or a paywall.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. When you paste data, the numbers are parsed, binned, and charted on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so your data stays with you. The tool remembers your last dataset in this browser only, so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off.

Why we care about bins

Most histogram tools bury the binning choice, which is the one decision that most changes what a histogram says. This site makes it a first-class control, with Sturges, Freedman-Diaconis, Scott, Rice, square-root, and manual options, so you can see how the shape depends on the bins and pick an honest one.
